New games can be expensive, sucking $60 (or more) from your bank account, but there are plenty of games available for far less. The same money can buy you hours of additional entertainment if you pick older titles instead of the latest and greatest, and there’s plenty to choose from; Steam currently lists almost 3,500 games under $10. A Good Match For: Fans of games like Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, or Minecraft. Anyone looking for a relaxing but terrifyingly addictive game. 12/13/13 Update: With a design overhaul comes an opportunity to add a bunch of great PC games that have made their way over to the Mac.
Sandra never had a lot of money. Early on in life she was in a horrible car accident that resulted in her losing her memory and landed her in an orphanage. Now, as an adult, she has decided to answer an invitation to participate in a Million Dollar Quest! It seems exciting at first, involving trips all around the world, but it begins to get a little freaky as numerous Hidden Object clues in the competition seem linked to her amnesia and lost childhood memories. Unique gameplay. Mysterious atmosphere.
Piece together Sandra's past! Rated 5 out of 5 by FORTUNATUS from Million dollars to developers for creativity This was a very pleasant, fun game to polish off in between all the 'other' glum games we've been bombarded with of late. It is what many would correctly deem a rather 'corny' H0G consisting of cut out as well as realistic graphics combined in such a way that games, puzzles and H0Ps are intertwined to tell a rather infathomable, romanticized story. Basically, it's about a girl with amnesia and her opportunity to move forward. The mini games as well as H0Ps were simple and there was a sense of humor throughout and includes an opportunity to very lightly explore/enjoy themes of various cultures. Well, despite all the potential criticism I could have due to some of the downside of the game mainly the simplicity, I actually thoroughly enjoyed most every single minute playing 'Million Dollar Quest'. I would say it appeals to 'tweens', teens and up.
Mainly females, yet I'm sure there are plenty of males that may enjoy the game as well. In view of the nature of it's very light content, you definitely have to be in the right frame of mind mood to play it. And when so, I do not think it could possibly disappoint! Check it out and see if the charming story doesn't appeal to you. Overall, it was very unique, well thought out and extremely pleasant in every way. I hope the developers use this concept and give us a more mature game with the same style of fantasized realism.
Happy gaming!: ). Rated 5 out of 5 by Hrdwlby from Imaginative and Fun Game Journey This is just a fun game to play. You are on a quest and along the way you are learning about your past.
You meet some very interesting characters. You are looking for objects to complete specific tasks at each stop on your journey. You play some enjoyable mini games. There is at least one that I haven't played before. The music is pleasant and the voice overs are realistic.
The story makes the game more interesting and it has an ending that makes sense! What more could you ask for in a game! Rated 5 out of 5 by RawrASarus from An Adventure that goes on and on!
I just loved this game, it keeps you on your toes, is full of many different challenges. Goes from one event to another and keeps the story all connected - So many different games, from hidden items, to cards to spot the differences, to arrange things, and so much more you will find it hard to not like! It has a super adventure tale but I'm not going to spoil the ending by telling you - a game for one or the family to enjoy. Full of fun, sound & visual is good and I rated challenge excellent for all its options. Worth the try and buy!
